The seaside town of Bude has so much to offer and is all within walking distance of the apartment. Head off along the coastal path to secluded bays whilst embracing the scenery

This wonderful property, situated just over half a mile’s walk from Summerleaze Beach, is the perfect romantic hideaway for two – plus the loyal hound! Sleeping both humans in a comfy king-size bedroom, it won’t be long before you’re feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day and explore both Cornwall and North Devon. Let your four-legged companion unleash it all on Northcott Mouth Beach (1.5 miles); there’s no need to worry about keeping those paws clean since there’s a fantastic shared dog bath and grooming area back in your apartment building.

The apartment, which is on the third floor, is welcoming and bright. The kitchen has a quirky feature wall with a table looking out across the golf course, while stylish interiors in the lounge make it an ideal place to relax in after a long day. Pop a film on the Smart TV and enjoy a snooze with the pup relaxing in their favourite spot. The bedroom is fresh and bright with pretty coastal features and a TV on the wall so you can enjoy a lie-in. Take in the views as the morning unfolds on the shared terrace before heading out for the day.

Take the South West Coast Path and visit the Pepper Pot (1.5 miles) before heading on a longer walk down to Widemouth Bay (4.5 miles); during the summer your hound can only visit the main beach between 6pm and 10am. Tintagel Castle (21 miles) sits on a spectacular location on this dramatic Atlantic coastline and is the birthplace of the legend of King Arthur. If you’re a Daphne Du Maurier fan, visit Jamaica Inn (26 miles) where there is a memorial to the author in the smuggler’s museum – every dog gets a treat on entry, too!

Great flat with wonderful views and short walk to beach and coastal path. It's a long haul up the stairs to flat 6 but once there it was cosy with a wonderful outlook. Parking is pot luck but going late September we were able to park outside every day. We would go again.

Tommy Jacks Apartment 6 is a great place to spend your holiday. A well equipped apartment, with views over the Golf Course and literally minutes from the beach or the costal path, it is ideal. Amazing location, and with a few changes it would be perfect. It's cheap and cheerful, what we were looking for, and the best part, dog friendly. The staff are really nice & helpful and I would go again if there were blackout curtains, a comfy bed and a comfy sofa. Windows are very rattly in the wind - easily fixed though. Great value with a super location, close to Bude Sea Pool, beach and South Coast Path. Clean flat with all needed amenities including handy area to wash off doggy's paws after trip to the beach.

Fabulous location, lovely spacious rooms furnished beautifully. You can see a lot of thought has gone into the rooms and facilities, with a downstairs wash room, shower and even a dog shower which helped us keep the sand out of the apartment. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped. A good setting with lots to do locally. Very dog friendly which was great and staff were very helpful

Great place with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Close to the beach and only a short stroll to town so, once parked up, we did not need to use the car at all. We highly recommend Tommy Jacks and would definitely stay again.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location for 2 beaches. Very near shops, restaurants and bars. The Crooklets and Chicken and Rum shack were both situated below and were both excellent for food. The seeting area outside was ideal to relax at. It is a great base to see other parts of Cornwall. Amazing holiday flat a few minutes walk from crooklets beach. We stayed in flat 6 on the top floor and the stairs were absolutely fine and manageable.
