This pretty property, situated in the ever-popular town of Bude, is an ideal bolthole for couples looking for a seaside holiday but who don’t want to leave their dog behind. Sleeping the humans in a peaceful king-size bedroom and with plenty of space for the hound to stretch out, it won’t be long before you’re off out exploring this brilliant coastal town. Go for walkies along Summerleaze Beach (less than 500 metres), or head further to Northcott Mouth (1.5 miles) where Fido can unleash it all whatever the time of year – no need to worry about mucky paws as there’s a shared dog bath back home!

The first-floor property is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen area is fresh and bright with everything you need to cook up a storm, while large windows in the stylish lounge offer views over the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club (less than 500 metres). Relax and unwind in front of the Smart TV with your favourite show while the pup snoozes at your feet. Enjoy a meal in the restaurant within the apartment block before retiring to bed; wake up among coastal tones and head out to the shared terrace with your coffee to watch the town come to life.

If you fancy a swift pint before heading out for a day of discovery, there’s a dog-friendly pub just half a mile away. You could also have a cream tea on the canal, around 650 metres from the apartment. The quaint visit of Clovelly (17 miles) is well worth a visit, as is Tintagel Castle (20.5 miles) which welcomes dogs – but there are some steep steps to be aware of. The charming waterfall at St Nectan’s Glen (18 miles) and wildflower walks in the quirky Gnome Reserve (13.5 miles) are both wonderful attractions to visit with your four-legged friend.

Location is fantastic, the flat is warm, comfortable & clean. There were a few minor issues to start with, all bar one were put right. The biggest problem was the smokers in the doorway leading to the flat, their language was appalling, this could be heard in the flat until 11pm & you could smell the smoke. Very intimidating when you want to pass tRead morehrough them. If you're a non smoker its horrible. Would not recommend purely on the smoking & language problem, very off putting. Hide

Good sized apartment, well appointed and clean with limited free onsite parking and ample paid parking nearby. Conveniently positioned by Crooklets beach with the benefit of both a pub and separate restaurant on site.

Lovely apartment, really clean and comfortable. Nice modern kitchen with all you need to self cater. Nice side view of the beach, great to be able to sit and watch the waves crashing. Really close to the beach. Dark walk back from town in the evening (we visited in September), which is the only reason I've given location a 4 star rating. However thRead moreere is a bar next to the apartments which does food, if you don't want to venture too far in the evenings. Hide

Excellent property ideal location to the beach for dog walking Some noise in the evening from the bar located next door but not a great issue however, drinkers would smoke right outside the main door to the flat, somewhat disconcerting when taking the dog for a walk later in the evening

Excellent location for Crockletts Beach. We took our dog who loved being so close to the beach, she insisted having a walk there everyday and investigated every rock pool. On returning the doggy bathroom was an excellent facility.

Comfortable, well equipped, spacious and great location. Staff very helpful. The downstairs shower room/drying room/dog bath was very useful. The hot water takes a long time to come through though, particularly upstairs. Lots of facilities in the local area.

It was close to the beach, it allowed us to get to the beach quickly. From the beach we could walk across miles, looking at the sea.

Lovely apartment. Perfect location. Great facilities. The welcome bag with biscuits and doggie treats was a lovely touch along with the milk. Although not always a space to park, the beach car park is so close and reasonably priced that we used this during our stay.

Absolutely lovely place, my dog absolutely loved it and we felt at ease that we were left to get in with it. Very large space in the ideal location! Staff were lovely and very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be staying here again!!
