This semi-detached house sits in a convenient location within walking distance of the beach town centre and provides an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Cornwall.

Newquay has long been a popular destination for tourists with its wealth of golden sandy beaches, perfect for families looking for a gentle paddle, or for surfing enthusiasts the famous Fistral beach, home to some of the UK's biggest competitions and events. The town offers a vast selection of shops, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. Visit Newquay's popular Zoo, Waterworld, Blue Reef Aquarium and Dairy Land to name but a few. A short drive from Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver's restaurant and the forthcoming Rick Stein's new eatery are making Newquay a growing 'foodie' destination.

The lounge offers guests a cosy space to relax after a day’s exploring the local area, with a woodburner for cooler evenings and a wall mounted 50” TV. Exploring the house further the kitchen / diner offers an electric range style cooker with gas hob, dishwasher, fridge / freezer with the dining space to the end of the room. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the utility room, and there is a separate WC located downstairs. Moving upstairs there are 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin zip and link (which can be made in to a double on request) and 1 single. There is a luxurious roll top bath with shower attachment, separate shower cubical and WC.

There is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and a decked patio to the rear with garden furniture and BBQ. Off road parking for 2 cars can be found at the property itself, and roadside parking is available for further cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely quirky house with the perfect location. Enjoyed my stay there with family and was just what we needed. If your not to funny about it being a 3* and sent to fussed about the house not being perfect then stay there. Did the trick as had the dog.

Cottage in a fab location, close to all amenities. Cottage was comfortable? Clean and well equipped. Lovely little touches with throws in the lounge, sky t.v and t.v in the kitchen. Felt very homely , not at all sterile a real home from home . Perfect for families .

We had a week's stay here at Tolcarne House , 3 adults ,1 teen and 1 dog.The house is close to the seafront and only a short walk from town and all the surrounding beaches.Everthing you need is in the house plus extras like a washing machine, tumble drier,dishwasher e.t.c.The garden is big enough for your dog/dogs to run about.2 cars could fit on tRead morehe gravel drive.There are lots of places in walking distance from here- zoo-aquarium-crazy golf-footgolf-and loads of surfing /body boarding. Great property in a excellent location. Just on the outskirts of town so nice and quiet with an easy walk into Newquay. Cream teas on arrival were very welcoming!

Brilliant holiday home, very well equipped, clean and perfectly positioned. We had 2 dogs, 5 adults and a baby! Not many places could have taken us, but Tollcane House felt like it was made to measure.
