Enjoy a memorable stay in this gorgeous, modern apartment with vintage style furniture and many thoughtful touches. Perfectly placed to visit wider Northumberland for a larger family or friends.

This fabulous townhouse sleeps eight guests and five canine pals. The property is just 5 miles from the Northumberland Coast - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and home to some of the country’s most glorious dog-friendly beaches. Alnmouth, 5 miles away, is a great spot to blow away the cobwebs. The vast expanse of sand is a real doggy haven, with ample room to charge around and dig for treasure. There’s also a great selection of woof-friendly attractions nearby, including Paxton House and its 80-acre parkland (just over 30 miles away).

The stylish property has lots of quirky features to add character and create a unique living space. Vibrant splashes of yellow lift the mood and cleverly placed lighting generates a cosy ambience in each room. Hard floors run throughout the lower ground floor and kitchen/diner, so dealing with the odd muddy pawprint is nice and easy. There’s a handy area to store all your dog-walking gear on the lower ground floor, and from here steps lead down to the shared courtyard. You’ll have your own dining area and there’s also toys and games for the little ones.

As well as the beautiful beach at Alnmouth, you’ll also be within easy reach of Bamburgh (16.5 miles away). Backed by the impressive castle, this beach is also paw friendly all year and a number of lovely walks along the coast start from here. Stride out towards the lighthouse, before climbing to the quiet coastal road to Budle Point – a wild and remote spot, full of atmosphere and time for reflection. You’ll find plenty to keep everyone entertained at Paxton House. Woofers are allowed in the grounds and can join you on the magical Fairy Trail. Afterwards, enjoy a hot beverage and tasty treat in the stable tearooms.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great property right in the middle of town and so within easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs as well Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Comfortable for 8 people.

Great location, spotlessly clean accommodation right in the heart of Alnwick. Lots of stairs to keep you fit! Close to the castle and surrounded by lots of great local shopping, eating and drinking venues.

The property is just amazing with plenty of space for a party of 9 (1 infant) - the location is perfect too. The house is in the centre of the town and not far from a beach! Owner was attentive and made sure everything was going well!
