This cosy and stylish annexe is the perfect choice for couples looking for a relaxing getaway and to explore the whole of Cornwall.
This delightful property in the Cornish countryside is the perfect place for a rural retreat. With Godrevy Heritage Coast, St Ives Bay and Tehidy Country Park within 6 miles, you and your hounds will be spoilt for choice when it comes to walkies. On your doorstep you have the Red River Valley Local Nature Reserve and Trail with an abundance of local flora and fauna to admire. As long as you’ve been well-behaved, on arrival back at the property you can tuck into the Cornish cream tea or doggy treats the owners may have left for you.
This well-presented, one-storey property is surrounded by the delightful Cornish countryside. Although most suitable for a couple and their four-legged friends, a double sofa-bed in the lounge allows a couple of extras to tag along too. Light, warm tones have been used throughout to create a restful, calming atmosphere. The welcoming lounge/diner is spacious and open, as is the separate, well-equipped kitchen. The double bedroom and en-suite bathroom is tasteful, clean and comfortable. Hard floors throughout the property mean you don’t have to worry about dirty pawprints (or footprints) on the carpet after you come back in from stretching your legs in the enclosed garden and patio area.
Everyone, including your canine companions, loves rolling in the sand or jumping the surf and the north coast of Cornwall boasts some of the region’s finest coves and beaches, such as Portreath (3.5 miles), St Agnes (7 miles) and Perranporth (13 miles) - check ahead for any seasonal dog bans. For something different, head south to the maritime town of Falmouth (15 miles), where you can visit English Heritage’s Pendennis Castle or catch a ferry across to the exclusive coastal resort of St Mawes for a wander around the castle or a sneaky glass of wine.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
