Property code: TIDEL

Within walking distance into Bideford, but with river views and direct access to a riverside footpath, this property enjoys peace and quiet and is conveniently located to enjoy local amenities.

This cute and compact riverside property packs a big punch! With more than enough room for up to four guests and a four-legged friend, you could soon be enjoying long leisurely walks along the estuary. Or you might find yourself sitting in the patio garden with Fido at your feet while enjoying an early morning cup of coffee and watching the tide roll out to sea. Conveniently located just a short stroll from the shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in Bideford, it’s no wonder people fall in (puppy) love with this property.

Decorated in a creamy palette, with wooden floors and dining furniture adding a warm and homely ambience, the open-plan lounge/dining space is comfortable and welcoming. The modern leather sofas and high back armchairs with footrests are positioned in the perfect spot in front of the large patio doors and provide the ideal vantage point to sit and watch the boats sailing up and down the River Torridge. The patio garden is a real treat for both hounds and humans; a most idyllic setting to enjoy balmy evenings and early morning games of ‘fetch’. The cool and calm décor continues up the stairs into the two bedrooms, with fresh and bright bed linen adorning the comfortable beds.

Leisure activities in the area include a huge selection of outdoor pursuits such as golf and tennis. The golden sandy beaches of Westward Ho! are just 2-miles from the property and here you can swim, surf or simply sit, listening to the crashing waves and enjoying precious time away with your pup. History buffs will enjoy the 19-mile trip to Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum, where they will see an impressive collection of horse-drawn vehicles, set in a stunning Regency house and gardens.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was very well equipped, beds were comfortable and the house very clean. The location was perfect with lovely views over the river. There is a short walk into town along the river or you can walk along the coast path in the other direction. Due to COVID we ate in at night and had picnics at lunchtime. There are shoRead moreps within walking distance, we also used the local Tesco, just a short drive away. Perfect for a UK break. Hide

The house was nicely decorated and very clean. It was a convenient position in walking distance of Bideford. It had two good parking places. The double bed however needs replacing.
