The property was lovely except for the size of the bathroom which was too small. The location was very nice, not far from the bottom of Tennyson Down which is a lovely walk. It has parking at the front of the property which is also a good thing. The property was very comfortable and had everything that you would need, and more. As I said before, ItRead more was let down by the bathroom, but you're only there for a week so you make do. It wouldnt stop us staying there again. Hide

The house is as, as its name says, The Wendy House. It is a small, quaint cottage sufficient for a couple with 2 dogs. It had everything we needed for our stay and we are very grateful to the owner for sharing this beauty spot with us. The island was very easy to get to from the house and we all had a wonderful week. A very pretty cottage opposite the only thatched cottage on the whole of the island and a few doors down from a really quirky bistro/cafe. The cottage is quite small but perfect for two people and a dog. Modern living area and the bedroom has sliding doors which open out onto the decking/garden area. Lovely little sun trap at the front to watch theRead more world go by. View from the property is beautiful and really close to Tennyson down which provides a great walk to the Tennyson monument. An excellent location. Loved the thatched church across the road. Very pretty accommodation. Bedroom nice and roomy with patio doors and lots of birdsong. We are used to a bigger bed. Let down by the location and size of the shower room.
