This beautiful cottage sleeps four guests and three canine chums. With idyllic riverside views from your patio, it’s the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and recharge your batteries. There’s no need to jump in the car if you don’t want to, as you’ll find some delightful walks from the doorstep for you and the woofers along the picturesque River Severn. It’s also a great area for keen anglers, with plenty of space to find your own little spot and while away the hours.

The gorgeous lodge is warm and inviting, thanks to the exposed wood and plush soft furnishings. The property features an open-plan layout and a stylish kitchen, making it a great space for entertaining. In the lounge area there are large comfy sofas to sink into after a long dog walk whilst admiring the far-reaching countryside views. Bi-folding doors open from here onto the fully-enclosed courtyard, making it the ideal place for the hounds to make themselves at home. Enjoy a glass of wine outdoors at the end of the day, whilst admiring the majestic steam locomotives chugging through the valley.

Why not visit Trimpley Reservoir during your stay (14 miles away)? It’s a beautifully peaceful spot for a dog walk and on a warm summer’s day take a picnic and make a day of it. Step back in time at Severn Valley Railway, where the woofers can join you on the heritage steam trains – a unique way to view the wonderful scenery along the 16-mile stretch from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. Hop on at Bewdley station, less than 10 miles away. There are also some lovely dog-friendly eateries in Bewdley, many offering riverside dining, so you can all go for a tasty meal after your trip on the tracks and browse around the cute little Georgian town.

We had an excellent weeks stay at the Lodge; property very clean, comfortable and with great views. Perhaps the best property we have stayed in with our 3 small dogs so far. If it's wet the local dog walks will be rather muddy, however a short drive away is Comet Wood, part of the Dudmaston Hall estate which is on sandstone, and hence quite dry! We enjoyed our return visit to Station Master's lodge on the banks of the River Severn. We did not have a ride on the steam locomotives which run behind the property but it was good to see them go past. Lovely spot with the pub The Ship 2 minutes walk away which served good food at reasonable prices

This is a lovely Lodge in a beautiful location. It's well equipped and spacious enough for 4 adults sharing. It's so peaceful and relaxing sat in the garden watching the river flow by below. I would like to point out that there are lots of flies and wasps in the area so remember to take some citronella oil/candle/burner so they don't spoil your timRead moree. The Ship Inn is 2 minutes from the Lodge and definitely worth a visit. The food and service are great and it's lovely to sit by the river. Hide

Such a pretty location and view out from the living room. Beer and food at the pub next door are great, very nice walks along the river, be sure to check train timetable and shops/attractions ahead of time - some things aren't open every day

Excellent lovely place to stay. Was so impressed with everything from the comfort of the beds to the amount of plates etc. Ideal location for lovely long walks along the river and a good base to go exploring Shropshire. Well fenced off area for the doggies and plenty of room in front room. Loved staying here and no doubt will be coming again

Property, particularly the sofa cushions smelt like dog. Things were a bit tired - bath panel had split, kitchen was well equipped but with unmatching plates, glasses etc. Bed felt like a small double, pillows could have been better. Would still stay again as was good value, lovely location, but definitely room for improvement.

The location of this cabin is stunning, the front enclosed area allows for wonderful views of the river. Easy access for fishermen. There are wonderful walks along the river and it was delightful to hear the stream train behind the cabin. Unfortunately the settees were extremely uncomfortable to sit on of an evening.

The lodge was obviously new build, however some things needed attention, ie we were locked out the first time we went out. Poorly fitted doors and locks.
