This cottage is one of the best we have visited. The perfect place for a relaxing break, nicely located for short walks to local pubs across the fields. Highly recommend The Hovingham Inn. We so enjoyed the property and its facilities, that we only left to walk for lunch.

Our second visit to the barn conversions. Last year we stayed in The Haybarn and this year The Stables. Absolute comfort and the furnishings and kitchen are lovely. Beautiful converted barn. Everything you could think of was taken care of. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The sofas big and comfy. The bathrooms luxurious. The courtyard garden was beautiful with matured plants and shrubs and a good size. Lovely walks right from the door. We particularly enjoyed the walk to Read morethe nearest pub in Slingsby which does good food and is both child and dog friendly. The communal facilities were outstanding. Hide
