Location is amazing and we enjoyed our stay in the area but lots can be improved on in the property as location alone doesnt justify high price. As run by the hotel its is very impersonal. Cottage is sweet, quirky, and we found sufficently clean/equipped and cosy. Pros; Stunning location, hotel convenient if pricey, fab pop up food/bar stalls at marina on friday & saturday, comfy beds, garden furniture to seat 6 easily & lovely garden. Cons; v awkward stairs, sitting room tiny, NOT suitable for byo sports equipment - you pay to kayakRead more (7.50 each!!), and bikes have to be brought thru house. Sports club nearby though. We loved this quirky cottage. It was in such a great location, really peaceful. We used the hotel for a couple of evening meals and the food and service was excellent.

Fabulous location great to be able to use the hotel Facilities. The Staff were very friendly. Cottage was basic and not very comfortable for relaxing in. Some grubby smells in the corners and cupboards. Garden was lovely! All in all we had a great week.
