One of two barns offering private and contemporary accommodation on this small working sheep farm. Beautifully finished and filled with rustic charm and quirky design features. You are welcome to explore the grounds and it’s especially lovely at Easter time when lambing takes place. The beautiful surrounding countryside is great for walkers and cyclists alike, and if you are looking to explore further afield, the gorgeous sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde and Dartmoor National Park are just a short drive away.

Stepping into the barn you immediately feel at home. The warm and cosy lounge/dining area has a fantastic feature wall and is the perfect space to enjoy an evening in with your feet up, read a good book or watch your favourite channel or movie on the TV/DVD. Two steps up take you to the compact but well-equipped kitchen, which also has steps out into the courtyard. Cook up an intimate meal or quick lunchtime snack with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A separate utility area houses the washing machine and freezer. Leading on, the impressive and spacious bedroom with stylish decor has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) with an en-suite shower room with WC. Completing the accommodation is a separate WC.

Heading outside, there is a courtyard area with garden furniture, BBQ and private hot tub, a fabulous spot to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunshine. You will also have the use of a beautiful acre wild garden. You can stroll through the farmyard and orchard, and there is even space if you want to have a BBQ. A dog sitting service provided by the owner is available upon request during your stay (charges apply). There is bicycle storage and off-road parking for one car available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely isolated, peaceful cottage miles from civilization. Great getaway to clear our heads and have a relaxing break. Hot tub works easily and very high standard of cottage decoration and fitted with modern bathroom and kitchen.

Nice cottage for any couples who are looking for a quiet place to stay. Good country walks around the farm. We met the owner when we got there and she was very welcoming and if anything needed just ask.

The sheep pen was very comfortable and warm , decorated beautifully and easy to find on the sat nav. Owners added a few complimentary treats which was lovely and our dog felt right at home .

We didnt want to come home! It was exactly what we wanted. We took our reactive dog and she was perfect. The garen was enclosed so she could go out (not that she wanted to go out in the rain - just incase she melted!) we didnt have to worry. We were far enough from things to feel like we were in our own world but close enough to amenities to not feRead moreel cut off. The welcome basket was lovely too. Walks in the area were amazing too. Lovely cottage, the hot tub was great at the end of the day. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and our dog loved exploring through the orchard and the garden. Really recommend it.

The sheep pen was absolutely lovely so relaxing and quite. Myself partner and dog enjoyed our week my dog even had a romance with the neighbours farm dog. Shops and beaches are not to far away and the hot tub was an added extra on the evening after long walks along the beautiful beaches

Wonderfully decorated and comfortable cottage ideal for 2 people centrally located to both Exmoor, Dartmoor and the seaside. Annie and Ian made us feel very welcome and we even had little Easter eggs , croissants, cookies , milk and fruit juice on arrival. The cottage is very quirky but a delight and we spent ages looking around all the little nickRead morenacks dotted around the rooms. Hide
