This one-bedroom apartment overlooking Lymington Quay is perfectly located just yards from shops, dog-friendly pubs and the marina of this elegant Georgian town – a great break for a dog-loving couple.

The apartment is accessed via stairs that take you to a small hall ideal for storing coats, leads and shoes before continuing along the hallway up two small steps to the lounge, where you can enjoy quayside views. Curl up on the sofa with your four-legged companion after a day exploring the area, or nip out to one of the many dog-friendly pubs and restaurants just yards away – and perhaps bring back a takeaway meal. Just off the hallway is the well-equipped kitchen/diner with a washing machine and dining room so you can enjoy meals watching the hustle and bustle of the quayside, and the double bedroom is alongside the bathroom.

Lymington is a delight to wander around, and there are some wonderful doggy walks to enjoy from the town. You might choose to walk part of the Solent Way or take one of the circular walks going past salt marshes, grand country estate houses and riversides. The Bournemouth Coast Path takes you by dog-friendly beaches and nature reserves, with striking views across the sea and over to the Isle of Wight. The property is less than half a mile from the railway station for the train journey to the departure point for the scenic ferry trip to the pretty town of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. The property is also just 5.5 miles from Brockenhurst in the middle of the New Forest - a truly wag-tastic place for Fido who will love scampering through the ancient woodland and enjoying the scents and sights of this heritage space.

Perfect location in lovely upmarket town. Right by the harbour and close to everything. Autumn colours in New Forest plentiful.

The flat has a lovely position overlooking the harbour where you can watch the boats, ferries and swans. Very comfortable accommodation. It is close to many amenities and Beautiful places to visit.

Very pleasant and great location, parking is a bonus although very tight with a larger vehicle. I dont know if the above flat is a rental but was noisy at times with kitchen equipment and small child running around. Not a negative comment just sometimes annoying.

A spacious and comfortable flat in a great location overlooking the quay, near lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday including good range of cooking equipment. Car parking space is a bonus. Lots to do in the area.

The cottage was nice and quiet even tho it was only a few hundred metres from town centre didnt hear any noise from it. There are lots of restaurants near by, we used the ship inn for Sunday roast and the angel hotel on Tuesday night for 50% off a steak meal

The Sail Loft is spacious and comfortable ,well equipped and perfectly placed to enjoy the delights of Lyminton and the New Forest. Parking is a real benefit but it is a bit tight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ian Henderson

Good central location with good views over the harbour. Bit noisy early morning due to deliveries to local shops. and sometimes late at night due to proximity to The Ship Inn. Very comfortable king size bed. Good sized kitchen which we used quite a lot as we stayed for two weeks. The Sail Loft is a very comfortable and well equipped property in a super location. Lymington is a lovely town with very friendly locals in a beautiful part of the country. Private parking was a bonus.

Had a lovely stay here over the Easter Break with amazing weather. Finding it was a bit tricky as there is another property called the sail loft on the quay! It had everything we needed and parking spot was really helpful as it was very busy when we were there. We enjoyed a drink in the Ship, and a lovely meal at the Haven. A very well equipped large one bedroom flat in an ideal location. From the front windows there are views of the harbour and the flat is just a couple minutes walk to the town centre. Lymington itself has a great variety of restaurants and shops, and easy access the the beautiful new forest.
