Accommodation was of the highest standard. The views from the house were beautiful and far reaching. The situation meant the that the only sounds we heard were birdsong and the wind in the trees. A large and varied number of walks are available in the immediate area.

The Retreat is a true find. Idyllic setting, although we had difficulty finding it again each time we went out for the day! SatNav a help but it is well buried in beautiful countryside and we discovered that some road signs had been turned around. It is fairly isolated which we loved. The cottage is absolutely beautiful - very much like an upmarketRead more hotel room upstairs and the living area was lovely too. It rained a lot while we were there but being inside the Retreat was no hardship. Hide
