Rest, relaxation and romance could all be on the cards during your time at this glorious barn conversion, located in a quaint little Cornish village just 3-miles from Land’s End. The perfect hideaway for a couple and their canine companion, you could spend your days strolling along golden beaches, exploring secret coves and sniffing out seaside fun. In the evening, tuck yourself in a blanket in front of the wood burner while you discuss the days adventures.

Inside is the epitome of country cottage charm. The lounge area is bright and spacious with high ceilings adorned with wooden joists and roof lights that drench the room in natural light. Slate flagstone tiles lead through to the kitchen/dining area where a well-positioned table and chairs provides a delightful social space, the perfect place for a chat over a morning cup of coffee. There is one cosy double bedroom with a soft, comfortable bed made-up ready for your arrival with fresh bedsheets. The bathroom with a deep bath and walk-in shower is the icing on the cake, with a long hot soak a must after energetic dog walks.

There’s so much to see and do at this well-appointed property and it’s just 3-miles from Sennen Cove, a long sandy stretch of beach and small harbour that welcomes dogs between October and May. A visit to the Minack Open Air Theatre, just 4-miles away, is a unique experience where a full programme of drama, musicals and opera are put on every summer. The town of Penzance can be found 7.5-miles from the property and here you’ll find an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes… and possibly even a pirate or two!

The bed was very comfortable, we both slept well all week. The bath was lovely and deep, there was plenty of hot water. The first few days of our stay the weather was awful but there were plenty of logs for the burner and the central heating worked fine. We were cosy and warm. The Pottery looked good online and in reality was even better . Even in February the cottage was warm and dry and perfect for a half term holiday break . The lounge area was comfortable and spacious with a powerful log burner that keeps you warm and cosy in the evenings, easy to clean out as well and a good supply of logs . Perfect location, really cosy with the woodburner and the bath was lovely after lots of walking at the numerous beaches! Clean, tidy and would definitely stay here again. Communication with the owner was tip top too, even though they were away for the duration of our stay. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

The cottage was in a great location, great log burner and plenty of logs included, the local farm shop was perfect for getting the essentials. Close to lots of beautiful beaches and walks. Lovely cottage in an amazing location. Friendly and helpful owners. Spacious and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen - the washer dryer was a bonus and meant that we didn't have to go home with a case full of laundry. The weather was wild but we were snug and warm with the log burner blazing. There is an excellent farm shop just down the Read moreroad - great pasties. We had a nice relaxing stay and the area is very peaceful. The cottage was fully equipped and comfortable. Perfect layout, especially if you have dogs with you. We had a really nice and relaxing stay, plenty of places to visit in driving distance. The cottage was cozy and was one of the best equipped we have stayed at. It is on the side of the owners home but they were very welcoming and helpful, and you use the left hand side of their drive for parking. The road just outside is not ideal for walking dogs Read morebut at the end of the drive, look to the left & there is a Rd just across and down. Lovely pub in St Buryan. Would fully recommend. Hide

Fantastic holiday cottage in perfect location for exploring far west of Cornwall. Very comfy bed with lovely duvet. Great courtyard garden to sit outside. Easy walk into St Buryan with local shop and pub.

We had a great time staying at The Pottery, it is warm and cosy and is ideally placed for visits to the local beaches of Porthcurno and Sennen. There is a village shop, pub and farm shop all within walking distance.

The owners had thought of everything! So well equipped and perfectly positioned for using the buses to to access the South West Coast path. Weve stayed in a lot of self catering places over the years but NONE as well equipped as The Pottery. Highly Recommended

Ideal cottage for our holiday in Cornwall with our 2 dogs. It's mostly hard surfaces so easy to clean. There's a nice little outside space that's private and enclosed. We really enjoyed the wood burner stove and appreciated the wood supplied. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and various necessities and cleaning products. We had a very lovely stay and would recommend this place. Cottage stayed cool on the hottest days which was lovely. The garden is fully enclosed so perfect for our inquisitive puppy to play in! Had everything we needed and lots of space. Location is ideal for getting away from it all and lots of coastal walks and beaches nearby. Lovely accommodation and ideal for a couple. Dont park under the pine tree - the sap ruins the paintwork of your car. Watch out for the low wall on the left of the exit of the drive. Completely wrecked the under sill of my car.

All the makings of a lovely spot, some small attention to detail would have made our stay so much more enjoyable. Be sure to ask the hosts (if you see them) if theres likely to be a noisy party during your stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Great place well situated to visit Lands End and St Ives. Lovely to walk into the village and sit and relax outside the pub. Great farm shop just up the road in walking distance who sold homemade take away meals and had a great cafe. Cottage garden was lovely and a great place to relax.

We enjoyed a terrific stay at The Pottery. The cottage is well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. The location is great for exploring the many delights south west Cornwall has to offer, including the charming village of St Buryan itself. The owners were helpful and friendly.
