Inside, this single-storey property, part of a small complex of three, has been superbly designed with chic, stylish furniture and contemporary colours. The spacious, open-plan living space is light and airy, with a smart, bright kitchen and dining table and a comfortable lounge area, complete with a cosy rug and a fire, in front of which Fido can toast his toes while you relax with a drink on the sofa. At night, if you wish, your four-legged friend can keep you company in the stylish king-size bedroom. In the morning, throw open the large patio doors and stroll out onto the lovely, private patio where you can enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine while your four-pawed pal snuffles about on the shared lawn.
With plenty of walks straight from the door, the cottage is also within a short drive of the beautiful North Pennines. Enjoy a stroll along the river in beautiful Weardale (12 miles) or head to the expanse of Derwent Reservoir (10 miles) where you and your furry friend can enjoy a walk around the sparkling water. For a spot of culture, head to the historic city of Durham (12 miles) where you can stroll around the pretty cobbled streets or wander along the banks of the River Wear and admire the views of the cathedral and castle before heading for lunch in one of the city’s many dog-friendly eateries.
