This was one of the most homely cottages we've ever booked, would thoroughly recommend boking a stay here. The beds were comfortable, the rooms cosy and the sofas were lovely to relax on after a day's walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Hearing the stream all the time was so relaxing.

Lovely property, very spacious and clean and beautifully renovated. We liked the village and people there seemed friendly. Garden good for our dog, but not secure enough to leave her unattended. Very convenient position for visiting beaches, moors and villages.

Beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, spacious, dog friendly, well equipped. We visited in November and the cottage was warm with welcomed logburner and generous supply of logs. Timberscombe has a pub and small store. Weddon Cross garage close by and has well stocked shop. Dunster is enchanting. An ex resident of Exmoor returning for a holidayRead more found it all just perfect and planning to return again. Thank you to the owners and the holiday team for excellent hospitality and support. The Old Saddlery is a comfortable and well-equipped cottage for a family of 4. The accommodation is spacious and the garden a gorgeous sun-trap with the relaxing sound of the river flowing alongside, perfect for a summer's evening aperatif and read of a book. The location is ideal for all the main attractions on the Somerset/North Devon border. MinRead moreehead supermarkets were just a short distance away via Dunster - a tourist's dream! All in all a perfect place to recharge the batteries xx Hide

We had a wonderful week in this property. It is very well equipped - it seemed more spacious than the online photos suggested too. The beds were extremely comfortable, the Wi-Fi and tvs worked well too. Parking was never a problem all week. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely location, cottage comfy and cosy. On road parking didn't turn out to be a problem. Great to have a garden to sit in. Owner responded promptly to my call, I couldn't get the key out of the key safe. Didn't experience any problems and would recommend this cottage, village and area.
