This pretty converted windmill dates back to 1857 and makes a great romantic retreat. There is a golf course and fishing nearby and it is located within walking distance of the village offering shops and a pub.

This property was originally a five storey corn mill, built in 1857/1858 and is located in Mattishall.

This pretty little village has shops, butchers, fish & chip shop and a pub and is central to many of the county's attractions. Quiet country lanes for walking and cycling, with nearby golf and fishing. Norwich is 13 miles away for castles, museums, theatres and restaurants and 5 miles from Dereham with restaurants, pubs and shops, there is an hourly bus service to both. The coastal towns of Blakeney, where you can take a boat trip or Wells-next-the-Sea for long stretches of sandy beaches can be reached within the hour. Norwich Airport is 16 miles away and pick-ups can be arranged & only a 20 minute drive from University of East Anglia. An hours drive to the popular Suffolk coastal towns of Lowestoft and Southwold.

On entering the converted mill the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave, the lounge/diner an attractive comfortable room with a flatscreen TV, DVD, coal effect electric fire, with doors leading to the garden. The bathroom is on the ground floor with bath and WC. A double bedroom is accessed via open plan stairs

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The Old Mill has real character and is located in a very peaceful, friendly village. Its ideal for a relaxing break but with easy access to other surrounding beaches and areas of beauty. Highly recommended and we didnt want to leave.

The Old Mill is a lovely quaint place to stay,with lovely views over fields. Very clean and well kept. An ideal place to explore much of Norfolk.

This is a converted windmill and there are plenty of references to it's past use. Lovely and cosy with plenty of hot water. Nice quiet location. A warm welcome from the owners and you are free to wander round their garden.
