Escape to Cornwall and enjoy nights by the pool after days exploring the coast and countryside. This farmhouse exudes style and luxury and has its own pool house where you can spend time after a dip if you don’t fancy a steam or a sauna. Perfect for family reunions or celebrations with friends, this bolthole sleeps ten over four bedrooms and a trip to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without your trusty pups by your side so bring them along to join in the fun and have a ball.

Ascend steps to the porch of this two-storey home where you can leave boots behind before heading inside. Fire up the wood burner and get comfortable on the inviting sofa in front of the Smart TV. When it comes to dinnertime, the fabulously stylish kitchen/diner has an Aga for slow-cooked feasts and a dishwasher to help with post-dinner duties. Gather at the breakfast bar for a drink before plating up at the table or get the BBQ sizzling and enjoy an al fresco dinner on the patio. Make a splash in the outdoor heated pool morning, noon or night. Four delightful bedrooms are a combination of family bedrooms and rooms for two, with one boasting an en-suite. There is off-road parking for three cars and additional space available if required.

Just 5.5 miles away, visit Pendennis Castle and savour a traditional Cornish ice cream overlooking Falmouth Bay. The panoramic views are a real treat and reach over to the fishing village of St Mawes. Closer to home, Penryn (2.5 miles) has a handful of pubs and eateries where you can whet your appetite. Though Falmouth’s beaches have seasonal dog bans, travel 19 miles to Carne to enjoy a family-friendly beach day.

  • Farmhouse - 3 x bedrooms - 1 King-Size Master Bedroom with En-Suite, 1 x Double and 1 x Super-King Size Zip and Link (can be set up as a twin on request).
  • Pool House - 1 x Super-King Zip and Link Bed (can be set up as a twin on request) and 1 x Super-King Zip and Link Twin Beds (can be set up as a Super-King on Request) - Please note that this is above the pump house where the filtration system runs 24/7 to maintain the pool. This does emit a low level of noise continually.
  • 1 bathroom with bath, rainfall shower with attachment and WC, 1 en-suite shower room with rainfall shower and WC, 1 shower room with shower and separate WC
  • AGA (Only switched on at Winter), electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher

We were a large family and fully enjoyed the farmhouse, the children loved the pool and it was well maintained during our 2 weeks.. The house has a lovely character with a beautiful conservatory and garden. We had a food basket on arrival which had scones cream and jam inside. The owners were available and reachable. Ideal location, for touring Cornwall. Was initially worried about garden steps for little ones but as all 2 years old. No problems at all though.

A superb cottage. Well equipped and furnished for a large family stay. A lovely welcome basket on arrival. Great location between Falmouth and Truro. Responsive and helpful owner - would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage, great space for family reunion and gathering. We found the road quite noisy though The small double room was very hot, above the boiler so we needed to open the windows at night, lots of road noise. Nice big kitchen and cosy lounge to retreat to The young members of the party loved the pool house. especially the sauna/steam room.

An excellent place to stay. Good value for money. Very clean and well equipped in the house with 3 good sized bedrooms and a large "chalet" in the grounds with a bedroom upstairs for a family of 4, a kitchen living room downstairs with sauna, and steam room.
