Three pups are welcome at this cosy cottage, and a second property is also available to book on-site. With a rural setting, long driveway, country lanes and an enclosed garden, it’s the ideal place for children and pup pals; the region is packed with dog-friendly trails, hilltop ambles, and abundant wildlife to see and detect, from barn owls and buzzards to handsome red squirrels.

Follow the ramp to the property entrance, where you’ll find a contemporary open-plan kitchen, dining, and utility area with enviable countryside views. Traditional country style blends seamlessly with contemporary creature comforts for a relaxing holiday. The spacious living room has a double sofabed, plus a TV with Freeview, and French doors lead out to the enclosed garden - perfect for pup pals who want the best of both worlds. The cottage was absolutely ideal for our stay. It is well located for exploring the surrounding area with the massive Galloway Forest Park a short drive away. It is quite remote but off that's what you're looking for it's perfect.

Fantastic cottage with a large garden great for the dogs. In a lovely area of the country, the cottage was nicely decorated and very clean, the road to the cottage is safe for dogs off the lead. The owners are so friendly and helpful, can only give 5 stars. Highly recommended , if your after a quiet retreat this is ideal.
