Overlooking a beautiful estuary in southern Snowdonia, this period apartment sleeps four people over two bedrooms and welcomes one four-legged friend. Enjoying an elevated position on the fringe of Barmouth, it offers far-reaching sea and mountain views - making it the perfect spot to get away from it all. Let your pup off the leash in the enclosed courtyard, or grab the lead and stroll through the property’s pretty communal residents’ garden to the beach.

With its high ceilings, feature fireplaces and exquisite coastal views, this ground floor apartment (reached via six steps) is full of period charm. Towel-dry your pup’s paws in the porch and step inside. To your right, you’ll find a spacious kitchen/diner with harbour and sea views. The dining table in the bay window is the perfect place to dine while enjoying magical sunsets. Across from here you’ll find a sumptuous lounge with comfy sofas, more incredible sea views and a woodburner-effect gas fire that your furry friend is sure to enjoy snoozing in front of. Step outside this ground-floor apartment and you’ll discover a private garden with gorgeous views of the Cadair Idris mountain range. This is the perfect place to strike up the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco dinner. To the rear of the property, there’s a small enclosed courtyard, which is the ideal place to hang out your wetsuit, wash down your bike or play ball with your dog.

The lovely sandy beach on the property’s doorstep welcomes canines at either side of the central, busier section of the sand. Alternatively, head to the doggy-friendly Coed y Brenin Forest Park (13 miles), which is popular with walkers and trail runners. Take your dinner with you (and some treats for Fido), because there are stone BBQ plinths at the Glasdir and Ty'n y Groes picnic sites.

Great location, wonderful views. Court yard garden perfect for my small dog. Warm and cozy after a day's walking, glorious shower, comfy bed. Large rooms. What more could you want! Will definitely book again.

We have holidayed here from the 4th of Nov to the 10th . We love Barmouth and have stay here at the Moorings 3 times, the location is great, its just a little walk into town, a nice walk across the beach then into a little beach cafe for a drink. it has a lovely choice of places to eat, Barmouth inn , Davey Jones and our favourite eating place is tRead morehe Last inn. its also central to other places to visit, we shall definitely be visiting again. Overall the apartment was fine. A little tired in decoration, could do with some sprucing up but an amazing view! The beach across the road is secluded and great if you have a dog, however it is accessed down quite a steep path with steps that could be tricky for those with mobility issues or unsteady. We managed to park across the road; the car paRead morerk is down the hill so not far but be aware of that. Nice little outdoor space also. Hide

Beautiful views lovely flat although a little tired very clean and quiet no garden the weather was gorgeous for our week. Wales and Barmouth are great places to visit dog friendly.

Perfect location. 5 minutes walk into Barmouth. View from kitchen and living room perfect. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room in apartment. Lots of storage space. Comfy beds. Very quiet. Sat outside a few times as weather permitted. Ideal situation to explore snowdonia.

Great place to stay in a very pretty town. Nearby little beach is perfect for a quiet walk or read. Great location for getting around other places of interest. Porthmadog is beautiful and worth the visit as is Harlech.

We loved our stay at this property. There was everything we needed and more. Beach, shops, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance. There are so many walks and beaches to keep the dog happy as well as the children, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2nd week in July so we also had the benefit of fantastic weather. The location was spectacular, we loved the flat. Easy to walk into a great little town. The location is fantastic, views were lovely and great beach in the town for dogs and one for families. There is a also a lovely little beach accross the road down some steps. Lovely flat, everything that you needed for a relaxing holiday. Lovely lounge and comfy seats, dining area had a lovely view. Parking is a bit tricky but we managed to cope with that.
