Lovely detached Farmhouse on the edge of the Brecon Beacons with walks from your doorstep

This detached family farmhouse has three bedrooms with room for up to six people as well as two canine companions. Enjoy the tranquil location and its cosy interior, a perfect haven to completely relax. Located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, it offers great walking routes, especially for the stick-chasers of the family!

The farmhouse is traditional but characterful throughout. Take a break in the cosy lounge with its exposed wood beams and wood burner or have a family meal in the quirky open-plan kitchen/diner. Upstairs, there are three warm and inviting bedrooms and a family bathroom. The property boasts stunning rural views as well as a private garden with BBQ, so why not take in the peaceful surroundings whilst dining alfresco? For the kids, there’s table tennis and a swing set outside. Parking is available for up to three cars.

Explore the closest towns to the property: Sennybridge, which is only a 4.5-mile car ride away, and Brecon which is 13 miles away with its Regimental Museum and cinema. From the property, stride out directly up and onto the stunning Epynt Way which looks back over the dramatic peeks of the Beacons, and let your four-legged companion take the lead. The area is great for cycling too, with bike hire available in Brecon. There are many things to do for all the family in the area including Cantref near Brecon which has farm animals, an indoor play area, and horse/pony riding trips. The National Showcase Centre for Wales is in the heart of the National Park, complete with dinosaur park and impressive underground caves.

Immaculately clean and well stocked when we arrived. Absolutely loved the house and the surroundings. Brecon is a lovely little town and the countryside is beautiful. If I could afford it, Id buy the house up the road thats currently for sale! We would definitely recommend it and will probably come back at some point.

Lovely garden space, a great place to stay for some much needed me time and rest and relaxation. Good location for walking with amazing views.

I loved this amazing home! It catered for all ages trampoline, swingset, table tennis, drumkit, guitar, gypsey caravan, loads of toys for the younger ones, outdoor games like boules and badminton, board games for all ages, cds, books and amazing collection of cds. It was great exploring the garden and local area. The only downside was that it is vRead moreery isolated. Great for peace and quiet but at least 30 minute drive to get anywhere. Anna was easily contactable and we'd def book to come again. Hide

Rustic rural cottage in a beautiful location. Great for kids and dogs. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The cottage is nice and in a good location. However we didn't have any central heating nor hot water. After arriving after work, and hiking Pen Y Fan the following day this was not great. We couldn't wash at all over the weekend. Huge let down
