Plenty to see and do in the local area, including RHS Harlow Carr, the city of York and the Yorkshire Dales, and located just a short walk from the Harrogate town centre, and the Turkish Baths spa.
This lovely romantic bolthole in North Yorkshire sleeps two people in one bedroom and welcomes one four-legged friend. Perfectly positioned on the outskirts of Harrogate, it’s the ideal retreat for couples who like to explore both the town and country with their canine companion in tow. And with an enclosed garden for your pup to enjoy, you’re sure to see plenty of tail-wagging.
Step through the front door you will find yourself in the bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Cook divine dishes for your loved one in the well-equipped kitchen area and enjoy a romantic meal in the dining area. Head to the comfy sofas in the lounge to snuggle up in front of the TV or retire to elegant, spacious bedroom upstairs. In the morning, enjoy your morning coffee on the private patio seating area and plan the day ahead while your pup runs free in the enclosed space.
You won’t have to go far to find a wonderful dog walk! The Stray (1 mile) is one of Harrogate’s best-known landmarks and has 200 acres of grass parkland to explore. It’s also a fabulous place to enjoy a picnic. Further afield, you’re sure to enjoy a magnificent stroll at Fountains Abbey (11.5 miles)—the largest monastic ruins in the country. Take your furry friend on a stroll through the gardens or the deer park. Pups are also welcome in the outside area of the restaurant, the tearoom and café, and you’ll find water bowls at the visitor centre, west gate, admission stand, café and tearoom.
