This cosy character cottage is ideal for couples and small families where you can snuggle up with your dog, enjoy long countryside walks and explore some of the UK’s most interesting historic towns. The cottage is in the landscaped grounds of a large Victorian house, perfect for running around with the kids and your canine pal. It’s in the little village of Neen Sollars, completely unspoilt with a lovely church and lots of easy walks to get those paws moving. Close by is the River Rea, where you can take a waterside wander and perhaps indulge in a spot of fishing along the way.
Inside, the cottage has a large entrance hall, ideal for getting muddy paws and boots clean after a day out adventuring. The cottage has original wooden floors and lots of exposed beams and is decorated in traditional style, making it feel lovely and snug. There is a light open-plan living space. The living area has comfy sofas to curl up on after a long day out, and a wood burner to keep you and your dog warm on chilly nights. The kitchen is well-equipped and there’s a good-size family dining table. The property sleeps three over two bedrooms. Outside, there is a private seating area with a BBQ.
The area is ripe for exploring. The Clee Hills and the Wyre Forest are both around 6 miles away and offer walks galore. Just choose whether you’d rather run over open hilltops with fantastic views, or retreat into the trees for endless stick throwing! The market town of Ludlow, 13 miles away, has plenty of busy pubs and restaurants, a bustling atmosphere and regular food festivals.
