Sleeping up to 22 guests across eight tasteful bedrooms, you’ll have everything you need to celebrate in style. Your faithful hound will feel like a VIP too, with over 2 acres to explore and plenty of spots for his cosy basket.

 

The property is Grade II listed with more original features than you can shake a stick at. Downstairs, you’ll find an impressive lounge, a glamorous dining room and a separate kitchen that’s fit for preparing a feast. Whether you are kicking off the festivities with champagne or testing out your vocal cords on the karaoke, you’ll certainly have a ball settling into this fabulous property. The configuration of bedrooms is particularly pleasing; with four bedrooms on the ground floor and the remainder upstairs, accessed via two separate staircases. One of the bedrooms is a charming galleried space overlooking the lounge, and another features an elegant four-poster bed. Make the most of the outside space by sizzling something special on the BBQ, followed by a soak in the all-weather hot tub. Young and waggy-tailed guests will need to be carefully supervised around the unfenced ponds, but otherwise, the garden is a delight to explore.

 

With excellent transport links such as the A140 and railway station nearby, you are well placed to enjoy the surrounding countryside or indulge in some retail therapy. The historic country town of Ipswich, 10 miles away, has an abundance of pretty shops and eateries. If you are visiting in the summer, Suffolk Dog Day is held annually in Helmingham Hall, 9 miles away, a great day out for your entire pack!

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was a good venue for a large family get together. The living areas and kitchen were spacious and we enjoyed our time there.
