Contemporary lodge, with stunning outlook over the Fells and Caldbeck Valley. Lovers of the great outdoors will be in their element with walks right from your door.
With walks straight from your door and a wood burner waiting for you on your return, make yourselves right at home as you escape to the magical Lake District. Sleeping four and your trustworthy pup, this lodge boasts floor-to-ceiling windows so you can stay warm whilst enjoying valley views.
With so many places to explore, you’re bound to return home with muddy boots and paws. The lobby area is perfect for leaving these behind and is a great place to towel off soggy fur to keep the living space cosy and clean. Boasting terrific views, the open-plan living space consists of a kitchen, lounge and dining area so you can cook, dine and chill together. Comfortable sofas are perfectly arranged around the warming wood burner, put your feet up and move only to dish out titbits and tickles to your four-legged friend who is basking in the heat. For sundowner evenings, take plates and bowls outside and dine alfresco on the decking. A final tail chase and stroke and it’ll soon be time to rest your heads to refresh, revive and rejuvenate before tomorrow’s plans. Two bedrooms offer lovely views and are tranquil rooms in which to drift off. Whilst the king-size bedroom is treated to an en-suite shower room, the family shower room completes this single-storey abode and provides a place to freshen up.
Throw on a lead and walk towards the local village of Caldbeck (2.5 miles), admiring the waterfalls at The Howk and the ruins of Bobbin Mill. For magnificent views and a sky-high stick chew, summit High Pike and Carrock Fell, both within an 8.5-mile radius of your front door. For a wild swim or a paddle, Bassenthwaite Lake is a 19.5-mile journey and sits at the foot of the stunning Skiddaw fells.
