The cottage was comfortable and warm. The accomodation was perfect for our family. My 90 year old mother was really pleased with her ground floor accomodation of bedroom and bathroom. We were equally pleased with our bedroom and bathroom and lounge on the first floor. The location made it an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire.

Everything was really good. Nice friendly people and everything you need supplied even down to a bottle of Prosecco and a full fruit bowl. Plenty of scenery to admire and lots to do if inclined. Something I never expected to do was to rescue a "Rigwelted Sheep" on its back in a hedge and in distress. Farmer was out but trusted me to do the deed.
