This truly unique converted grain dryer offers the very best in stylish minimalist living in the heart of the gorgeous Gloucestershire countryside. Sleeping 13 people across five bedrooms and welcoming two four-legged friends, this is the perfect property for family gatherings or celebrations with friends. With plenty of open-plan space to enjoy, plus a BBQ and a hot tub, this social property on a working farm is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Step inside this property and you’ll find yourself in an impressively large open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. There’s a massive dining table that can accommodate parties of 12, a games area with a pool table and table football for some competitive fun, and a cosy lounge area with lovely views through the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to the property’s two terrace areas. There’s also a projector room with comfy beanbags where serious movie buffs can enjoy all of their favourite films. You’ll find five well-appointed retro-chic bedrooms on the upper two floors of the property, as well as a luxurious hot tub on the rear terrace.

Take your pups for an artsy stroll to see the world-class collection of contemporary sculptures at the doggie-friendly Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail (12 miles). Dog biscuits and water bowls are available at trail’s café. Alternatively, take them for walkies along the Cotswold Way to the unique Capability Brown folly tower of Broadway Tower (37 miles). There you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views across the Severn Vale into Wales. One of a cluster of units set on a beautiful working farm and can be booked alongside The Rusty Barn.

A great property for a large group stay. We loved the open plan downstairs and really enjoyed cooking and gathering round the large island area for breakfast or in an evening . The enclosed garden was perfect for 3 dogs and the hot tub was a lovely addition which we took full advantage of ! Gorgeous house in great location. Plenty of room for our large family of varied ages at Christmas. Much fun had at the pool table and football table. A beautiful house in a beautiful setting with amenities close by. Some updates required within the property to ensure comfort in all areas. Lovely little welcome gift of milk and fresh bread. Would recommend.

A fantastic property with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces for our 12 guests. The large living area into the kitchen downstairs meant that a large group could cook, dine, relax in front of the tele or play games on the pool and table football tables all in one space without tripping over each other. The house and location were lovely, perfect for celebrating my birthday. Only niggles were the hut tub was a bit of a pest as it kept losing heat (naturally) but it wouldn't reset in order for us to reheat it and the error codes it came up with weren't in the manual. The hot water to the property also wasn't on when we arrived and it appears to be Read morea tank system so we had to wait for that to heat up too. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Hide

This is a fantastic property that i would highly recommend. The open space is great for all the family, the pool table was a great addition. The space in the bedrooms and on suite bathrooms was also a plus, it felt like there was so much space. The kitchen had everything you could need, plenty of dishes, cooking equipment etc. Kids loved the games Read moreroom, it exceeded my expectations. Great property for a large family party. The hot tub at 32C was perfect during the hot spell and the decking area was really welcome. The owners also provided a couple of fans, the one downstairs being a large agricultural unit fitting the theme of the property which turned the area into a wind tunnel, fantastic!! Family group for celebrating multiple 50th birthdays. Lovely property well equipped. The family room was not suitable for our party as my grandsons are 19 and 17 and both almost 6 ft. The younger one slept on sofa in living room. We had 2 small niggles. The barbecue had not been cleaned and needed attention before we could use it. Fabulous place for my hubby's 60th where we had 10 adults and 2 dogs staying for the weekend party and BBQ. The hot tub was a massive hit as was the pool and football tables. After our family left my hubby the dog and I lorded it up for a few days visiting local beauty spots and relaxing in the hot tub. A group of us stayed at the grain dryer for a hen weekend and we had the best time! It is an absolutely beautiful location and the house was simply amazing and has everything you could possibly need! We had a great stay at The Grain Dryer and it was perfect for our party occasion. I would say the venue is not suitable for 13 adults - 10 adults comfortably but no more - but would be fine if your group included children. The outside space is great and the hot tub a good bonus.
