Enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area and you’ll immediately be struck by the wonderful period features including exposed beams and brickwork. An inglenook fireplace with a wood burner is the perfect addition for snuggling up with wet noses on a chilly winter’s night. While dining out is simple in the area, those who wish to dine in will be pleased to find anything they could want in the sizeable kitchen space. A dining table provides the perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one single and a shower room for all the family, furry members included. Outside a raised patio area provides a secure area for the dogs and humans to enjoy eating alfresco.
For longer walks pups will appreciate bounding around Clare Country Park less than 0.5 miles away. The short walk to the park will appeal to all, with independent shops and a cafe on the way. A short stride in the other direction leads to Clare Ancient House Museum (under 0.5 miles) which is a Grade II listed building of significant importance to the local area. Visitors will be able to explore findings from ancient Roman and Neolithic settlements from the surrounding area. Romantic riverside strolls with the pooches are just over 10 miles away, with the Stour providing secluded areas and stunning views throughout.
