Property code: CC086

One of two cosy cottages in a  lovely Cotswold location, a perfect destination for a family break away.

This cosy Cotswolds barn conversion is in a fantastic location on the edge of a farm, with sheep grazing just outside. It’s ideal for active family breaks with canines included, sleeping four to six humans and two dogs. The farmland location means you can step right out of the door and off for a brisk morning walk through the lovely Cotswolds countryside – no need to drive anywhere. It’s surrounded by peaceful walking routes, both locally and longer-distance.

The barn has stunning views out over the fields, particularly from the large, high-ceilinged living space, which has huge floor-to-ceiling French windows. The room is filled with light all day long. There is lots of space to stretch out with your four-legged friends, with two sofas and a huge family dining table. No need to fear wet weather days – you’ll have all the room you’ll need to keep the family happy and busy. The barn has two bedrooms, sleeping four in total, plus a sofa bed sleeping another two. It can be booked together with Oak Tree Cottage to give another four beds. Outside is an enclosed private garden with a BBQ.

The nearest village is Shipton-Under-Wychwood, where you’ll find two welcoming pubs. It’s 2 miles away, making it within easy dog-walking distance. The ancient town of Burford, with its historic high street, antique shops, pubs and tea rooms, is just 5 miles away. There are fantastic long walks to be had all around, especially on the Cotswold Way, where you’ll find pretty thatched villages, breathtaking countryside views and all the space your dog needs to run and play.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £50 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

What a wonderful venue for a relaxing holiday. The barn was welcoming and comfortable and so well equipped. We both loved the sight of the sheep each day and even our dog Daisy was used to them by the end of the week. The location couldnt have been better and close enough to all the lovely villages such as Stow and Bourton, yet remote enough that iRead mores blissfully peaceful. We highly recommend this property and the wonderful setting. We are considering another stay as soon as we can . Hide

Lovely holiday home, everything you need, and loads of local information. We all (including the dogs) had a great time watching the lambs and doing all the local walks. The cotswolds wildlife park is a must visit and you can take the dogs aswell.

The location was not as clean as we would have liked, with lots of insects in the barn (but to be expected to a degree as the location is surrounded by farms). Isolated location, but nice overall - good value for money

The Gallery was very comfortable and so peaceful surrounded by friendly sheep. It was a short drive to Burford and many of the other beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. It was perfect for us & our 2 dogs.
