A beautifully renovated coachman’s stable situated on the outskirts of the picturesque Highland village of Drumnadrochit.

This fabulous Loch Ness bolthole, in the Highlands, sleeps four guests and two hounds. Get out on the water, with your trusty companions by your side, and let them help you sniff out Nessie or take a tranquil walk high above the loch at Meall Fuar-mhonaidh (5 miles away). Alternatively, head north to explore the cosmopolitan city of Inverness (18.5 miles away) and its surrounding sandy beaches.

The stylish former coach house has crisp white walls and chic decor. The property has grand high ceilings and an elegant spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine balcony over the lounge/kitchen/diner – the perfect place to relax with the morning papers. After a day of exploring the Highlands, return to this cosy property and sink into the sumptuous leather sofa whilst the woofers doze in front of the roaring wood burner. Sliding doors open directly onto the patio, where you’ll find outdoor furniture and delightful views over the stream, meaning Rover and Fido can happily amble in and out.

Experienced walkers and adventurous hounds will love Meall Fuar-mhonaidh. The track to the peak is quite rough, but you’ll be rewarded with the most spectacular views of Loch Ness and, on a clear day, towards Ben Nevis and Fort William. The circular route encompasses the pebble beach, as well as a shady woodland stretch and there’s a fabulous woof-friendly pub at the end (always a bonus!). For a change of pace, journey to Inverness. Packed with historic sites and some awesome independent shops, there’s plenty to explore. However, if you want to please the pups, head to Ness Islands. The beautiful collection of islands, connected by Victorian suspension bridges, is a glorious place for an afternoon dog walk after a morning of sightseeing.

Clean and comfortable. Watch the underside of your car on the start of the driveway as uneven and caused mine to ground !

A lovely style Coach House set in the countryside above Loch Ness. Two bedrooms, one with twin beds, good kitchen facilities and TV and wood burner in lounge. Good WiFi. We stayed for a week and saw a red squirrel everyday whilst having breakfast. Had a very relaxing time.

Beautiful location. Brian the neighbour was super. House very clean and warm. Kitchen well equipped. Surprisingly good Wifi. 2 good bathrooms. Only problem is access to house with a car. Our Audi SQ8 was a bit too big. Definitely nothing bigger. Super holiday.

We enjoyed a magnificent holiday at the Coach House ! It`s a short walk to the Divach falls down the road and a great base to explore many fun places at the highlands! The house itself is cozy and beautiful with a modern kitchen. It was fun to cook & bake there with my children. I totally recommend this cottage for a layd-back family holiday.
