Located in Bothenhampton, this four-person, two-dog home-from-home is as perfect for summer escapes as winter retreats. Spend each day exploring the surrounds (West Bay is only 1.5 miles away), and in the evening return to put your feet and paws up, sharing out helpings of Dorset cheese and wine for two-legged guests and delicious treats for your four-legged friends.

Pull off shoes and wipe up paws in the hall and come inside. A surprisingly spacious home for up to four guests, there is plenty of room to let sleeping dogs lie as well come together over family fun. At the end of the day, seek out blissful repose on the second floor, home to two bedrooms.

Outside, your dogs will love starting and rounding off each day with a play in the enclosed garden. I could only give 3 stars for comfort as the heating boiler was not working for three days and we had to use convectors and immersion heater for hot water.
