Explore Kent, the county known as the Garden of England, from this peaceful base with your faithful friend by your side.
Set on the outskirts of Benenden, the studio is accessed via an external staircase. Open the front door to discover your eye-catching, open-plan living and bedroom accommodation with its vaulted ceiling and skylight windows. Whip up a meal for all three of you in your kitchen area then relax on the comfortable seating with your furry pal stretched out close by. Watch the Smart TV, play a game on the Xbox or – if you have not had enough exercise –power up the Wii Fit. And, when you all decide to turn in, your best friend will know you are close by if needed. In the morning, take Rover out into your private garden for a stretch and then enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. With permission from the owners, you can also stroll further around the grounds.
Walk the 1.5 miles from your holiday home to Benenden’s dog-friendly pub, where all three of you will be served something delicious to eat. Hounds on leads can also accompany you as you explore the wider estate of the National Trust’s Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, approximately 4 miles away, and garden-loving canines can also visit Hole Park. Famed for its topiary and colourful borders, this is just 3.5 miles from your base. Here thirsty walkers will find refreshment in the cafe or outdoor seating area, depending on whether they fancy a hot cup of tea or a cool bowl of water.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
