Ideal for a large family group and up to two four-legged friends, this traditional country cottage is only a quarter of a mile from the village pub in Sway. Explore the New Forest National Park on the doorstep of the cottage making this perfect for wonderful, easily accessible walks with your dogs. The pretty patio and gardens are ideal for evening refreshments. You and your dogs will be made most welcome at this traditional country cottage, with private and enclosed grounds.

With the ancient landscape of the New Forest on the doorstep and the local dog-friendly village pub so close, this is an ideal spot for those looking to explore and appreciate this picturesque National Park. Be enchanted by this ancient landscape of heathland and forest trails, with freely roaming ponies and donkeys. The area also offers 100 miles of off-road designated cycle routes. Dogs are a way of life here, with free access to virtually all parts, while lowland trails make easy walking for people, too. The nearest town is Lymington (5 miles) with its cobbled coastal quay and excellent Saturday market. Mudeford (10 miles) is picturesque and great for crabbing.

An excellent place to stay for the week. Very home from home, well furnished & equipped with everything you need. A quiet spot with a good pub nearby if you want to eat out. We really loved the welcome basket & provision of toilet roll & cleaning materials too. It is well situated to explore the forest or beachfront. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our holiday was fantastic. Great location, didn't use our car and travelled by bus, taxi, train and ferry. Pub up the road was great too. Cottage was cosy with everything we needed.

We first stayed at the cottage in 2019 & keen to return to the area meant going back to this property. It hadn't changed which was great! It is so homely, comfortable, well equipped & clean with the added bonus of a welcome hamper, cake & flowers. The location is great for getting out & about & surrounded by lovely places to walk.

A great location on the edge of the forest with endless walks from the door. A short drive to Lymington, lovely pub at end of road, butchers and deli and coop in village. The cottage was excellently stocked with all we could ever need. Highly recommended.

The cottage is beautiful and really well appointed and stocked with everything you'd need. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were left some lovely treats on arrival, which was a nice touch. This cottage is very special- it is comfortable, warm and extremely well equipped. The owner supplied an excellent range of useful information about the area and even the dogs were made welcome. This area of the New Forest is perfectly situated for both the forest and the coast with lovely walks from the cottage.

Beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable cottage in a great location. Lovely decor and very comfy beds. The walk in power shower is really great. Local pub a 5 minute stroll where they serve very good food. Great location.

Fantastically comfortable and high quality throughout. The location is great and nearby facilities excellent. Very well equipped kitchen and everything worked well. The log burner was easy to light and control, and gave a warm glow to a chilly day.

The folders with the walks around the area was great, and there was loads of other advice which was all really useful.
