Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the lodge is nestled within this wooded park surrounded by rugged scenery and outstanding walks, quaint villages and endless views. The nearby village of Grassington is just two miles away with its annual Dickensian weekends, summer musical festivals and 1940's weekends, offers a choice of friendly independent shops, tea-rooms, country inns and restaurants is only 1.5 miles. Kilnsey Crag, Kilnsey Trout Farm and Kettlewell with its famous Scarecrow Festival during August are close by, whilst the market town of Skipton is a short drive. The Yorkshire Dales have many walks and are accessible for many levels - The Pennine Way, the Coast to Coast and the Dales Way all pass through the park.
