Discover a slice of luxury studded amongst the mountains of Pen Y Fan and Corn Ddu in the Brecon Beacons, tucked in a cosy cottage packed with rustic charm. Sleeping four across two elegant bedrooms, this rural retreat is ideal for family getaways or reconnecting with close friends. Your pedigree chums will feel like VIP’s with an abundance of walks on the doorstep, exploring secret copses, a private woodland and even a safely enclosed meadow. Your pooch isn’t the only one who’ll feel pampered with access to a treatment studio on the grounds, so why not indulge in a relaxing massage or an equally relaxing treatment. The treatment studio is temporarily closed until spas can re-open nationally.
Step inside to find a deliciously comforting living space, featuring a roaring wood burner, classic furniture and plenty of homely touches. There’s even a neat dining area for hearty breakfasts and fresh coffee, or throw open the French doors to dine with a view on the terrace. The country cottage-style kitchen is superbly equipped to tempt even the most reluctant of cooks. Upstairs, the decadent wet room-style bathroom is a welcome treat after a day of adventuring, followed by a restful night’s sleep in one of the sophisticated bedrooms. By day you’ll be able to make the most of the sun, with a terrace on either side of the property.
Whether you are a mountain hiker or prefer a slower amble along a bridleway, there really is something for everyone in this fantastic location. The town of Brecon itself is worthy of a day trip, with a historic cathedral, pretty shops and a choice of cafes.
