This one-bedroom apartment sleeps two guests and a pair of their beloved pups, making it ideal for a dog-loving couple seeking a seaside break. Close to both Swanmore and Ryde, the appealing abode comes with a courtyard garden and is just 0.5 miles from the sandy beach where your happy hounds can race across the sand and frolic in the shallows all year round.

Wander into the bright apartment with your dog close behind. Find yourselves in its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can feed your furry friends, prepare tasty treats for the two of you and settle down together in the evening to watch TV or chat about your day. As day turns to night, bid your furry friends good night and make your way through into your comfortable double bedroom. Open the door on to the courtyard garden in here on spring and summer mornings to bring in a pleasant breeze. Find you have a shower room, separate WC and utility space with handy washing machine for sandy dog towels after days out to the beach. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner out in your private outside area as often as the weather permits. Discover parking is on the road, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Venture out to discover the island’s many dog-friendly beaches. Some do have restrictions at certain times of year on particular sections but there are always great stretches of sand and sea to enjoy. Try Orchard Bay, 13 miles away, or Bembridge, 7 miles away. Make a trip to Osborne House, also 7 miles from the apartment, where your dog can accompany you through the exquisite landscaped gardens with their spectacular views out across the Solent.

Had a great week at The Bolthole. Lovely, well appointed accomodation, with everything you'd need supplied. Short walk into Ryde. Would gladly go vack again.

The property is on a the apex of a junction of 2 main roads with two others going off at right angles. Despite this, it was very quiet. Excellent quality inside and winderful attention to detail. Handy co-op store nearby with convenient bus stop. Buses from here run every hour. There is a small park 2 minutes walk along road opposite, handy for a qRead moreuick dog walk. Main town centre an easy walk down hill en route to the beach. Walking back is up hill! Nearest beach is dog friendly. Hide

I was working on the island for 3 days so took advantage to bring my wife and dogs for a break. The flat was clean, warm and excellent Wi-Fi which was a bonus for my work. Coop at the end of the road and around 25 min walk to the seafront. Great secure enclosed areas for the dogs.

Overall pretty fair value for money. Bedroom configuration - unless this can be changed by host - means that one person has to clamber over their partner to get out. With a dog but a fairly long walk before you're able to get to grass for their ablutions - over 20 minutes to the nature reserve area. There is grass outside some houses though but it'Read mores well tended Lots of cleaning equipment and an excellent shower and washing machine. Quiet despite being between two roads. We enjoyed it!
