This delightful property, situated 14 miles from Barnstaple, is ideal for human and canine guests. Sleeping four across two beautiful bedrooms and with space for up to two dogs, this holiday home is perfectly placed for discovering Devon’s coast and countryside. Head to Westward Ho! Beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Off the beaten track, which was perfect for us, and great base to explore.

Well decorated and furnished house. A drive down narrow country lanes was needed to get anywere but the plus side of this was a lovely quiet location - no light pollution, no road noise or noise from neighbours. Teddy House is a lovely cottage tucked away on a private farm. The views at the farm are beautiful and the enclosed rear garden is perfect if you have dogs and want to be able to let them into outside space safely. The access to the cottage is along a very narrow track road, only a few passing places, need to be good at reversing on occasion. Track can be challenging in the autumn and during frost/snow. Total immersed into the country farmland ideology and for us idyllic and private is exactly what we needed. They cater for our dogs exceptionally with secure Read morerear court yard. The host provided every essential finishing touch, even logs for the fire. A Perfect Staycation Cottage in Devon. Hide

Excellent accommodation. Highly recommended. Gorgeous cottage with every facility and in an idyllic area. Having lived in Cornwall for 10 years we're used to country lanes. Great cottage. Peaceful, spacious, clean and well-equipped. If you want to unwind away from everything, this is ideal. Bit of a drive to things so plan your days, but so nice to get back to serenity every evening.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Quite isolated which we knew when booking. Track to cottage has a few potholes but was ok driving slowly. Kitchen seemed well equipped but we tend to eat out. Local pub has closed but there are a few others within reasonable driving distance serving good food. No milk provided (most cottage ownersRead more leave a pint in the fridge). My advice is either bring essentials or book a Waitrose delivery. We enjoyed our stay. Owners dogs were lovely. Hide

We had a lovely family week away at Teddy cottage. It was clean and had most of the things you need for a family stay. My children loved to see the owners ponies and dogs wandering around. Teddy cottage is located down a narrow lane within the grounds of someone's home. You aren't free to wander the grounds but there are a number of public footpathRead mores outside of the gate. Beware of the lane! Our car scraped the ground a few times despite taking it very slowly. A few miles from some scenic places. Hide
