The renovated accommodation is set over two levels, offering one double bedroom complete with en-suite. Guests can enjoy an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The cosy lounge is complete with a wood burner, perfect for cuddling up with your furry friend. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area offer a comfortable space to prepare and enjoy a relaxed meal. The doors through the dining area lead onto a decked area complete with seating and BBQ, great for al fresco dining. Guests can also make use of the shared heated indoor pool and spacious garden area.

With a country pub and the great outdoors within easy reach, you may not want to leave. However, there is plenty to be explored when it comes to the outdoor pursuits within reach of this property. National Trust-owned Montacute House is located 3 miles away, the town of Glastonbury is 19 miles away, with the town of Taunton 20.5 miles away. If you wish to treat your beloved dog to a day of exploring, travel 21.5 miles to reach the Blackdown Hills or 32 miles to the Quantock Hills. For those looking to venture further afield, the coastal town of Weymouth is 36 miles away as is Exmoor National Park.

We stayed her at Christmas 3 years ago and booked again for this Christmas which shows how much we liked it, again a lovely peaceful time, perfect for walking our dog with the added benefit of an indoor pool as my wife is a keen swimmer.

Lovely quiet setting beautiful well kept gardens and the pool is a bonus, local pub does very good food great walks at nearby Ham Hill country park. Ideal for National Trust visits, and only just over an hour from beautiful coastal towns.

Charming cottage with superb location in beautiful village. Owners very helpful throughout or stay. Exceptionally well-located for visiting some of the country's best National Trust houses and gardens (worth taking out National Trust membership if staying here). There are also some very pleasant 4-5 mile circular walks straight from the front door.

Thoroughly recommend this cottage Ham hill in the next village is great for dog walking and the garden pool is delightful. The owners are around but not intrusive We are looking to return next year
