Providing comfortable accommodation to suit the whole family, experience the charms of a small village on the coast of beautiful Cornwall. The house is an absolute haven for beach lovers, with the golden sands of Widemouth Bay less than 0.5 miles away. For up to four humans and one dog, there’s plenty of exploring to be done on both land and sea. At the end of the day, you’ll be glad of the short walk home!
Step into the bright and pleasant kitchen/diner and enjoy a healthy and hearty breakfast together at the table before heading out to find adventure. On your return, wipe those paws and wash away the sand (which the handy washing machine can help with!) before settling down for the evening. The lounge is warm and welcoming, decorated in the natural tones of the countryside. You can relax in front of the Smart TV, with the wood burner-effect electric fire turned on and your canine companion curled at your feet. Turn in for the night, whether that’s in the double bed or on the top bunk, to replenish your energy for the next day. Outside, there is an enclosed patio area which is a perfect summer suntrap.
This stretch of coast is considered a great place for surfing, and keen beginners can take lessons with the local surf school. Let your hound stretch their legs along the dog-friendly south side of the beach, Black Rock, where kids and adults alike will also love poking around in the many rock pools which appear at low tide. The town of Bude is a short drive north (3 miles), where Summerleaze Beach also welcomes dogs on leads, and there are a range of attractions including a sea pool and heritage centre.
