This beautifully presented third floor apartment is located on the ever popular Pentire headland close to Newquay’s famous surfing beach, and provides a relaxing base for families and couples alike.

Newquay is one of the most dog-friendly places to visit in Cornwall, and this beautifully presented apartment will really set tails wagging. Four people and one hound are welcome at this seaside home away from home, perfectly located for exploring this coastal town and beyond.

The apartment is on the top floor, offering beautiful views towards the beach and sea. The open-plan living area has cosy leather sofas and a TV/DVD, the perfect place to put your feet or paws up after a busy day seeking out new adventures. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine by heading out through the French doors, which open up to a private enclosed balcony with seating and beautiful views across the countryside.

The property is located on the Pentire headland, but beaches that are ideal for dog walking are just on the doorstep. Fistral Bay is a 200m downhill walk and there are areas here, such as Little Fistral, which allows dogs off the lead all year. A beachfront cafe here provides treats for dogs and a relaxing atmosphere to watch surfers tackle the waves. Newquay town centre is 1 mile from the apartment, where you will find shops, restaurants and attractions to keep you busy. Europe’s largest garden restoration can be found in South Cornwall, at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 20 miles from the property and dogs with well-behaved owners are welcome all year round. There are miles and miles of pathways and routes to explore at your leisure.

This apartment could not be in a better location for Fistral bay. You need to be able to do steps and also an upwards walk back from the beach - but the beach is literally 5 minutes walk away - the steps didn't bother us and our 5 year old at all. The landlord was lovely, as was his property manager, Vicky, who was most helpful. We loved the apartment and it felt like a home away from home. Very well equipped kitchen, immaculate throughout, fab little terrace - just lovely! A lot of stairs up to the flat was the only draw back but it wouldn't stop us staying there again.
