With little wonder why, this stunning barn conversion makes for such a wonderful getaway, sweep yourselves away to this gorgeous part of the world. With room for two and your two dogs, you can enjoy a blissful retreat together with the town in easy reach and boundless countryside to explore.

Dating back to the 17th century, this detached property oozes charm. Having been lovingly converted, it provides a space brimming with light and luxurious touches. Upon entering the property, the first port of call is the lounge/diner framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. Heading through the dining area takes you to the kitchen, where a fully-equipped space provides all the tools you need for culinary creations. Also, downstairs is the bathroom, whilst upstairs is the jewel in the crown: the bedroom. Here, a super-king bed nestles beneath an apex ceiling with lovely feature windows. With slightly reduced head height, you will feel snug as a bug in here after a long day’s adventures with the hounds.

With such a gorgeous town on your doorstep, the first place to seize your attention should be Sturminster Newton itself. Home to a flowing river, 400-year-old water mill, elegant bridge and attractive architecture, there is plenty to capture your imagination. Your dogs will absolutely love exploring the neighbouring countryside with abundance of scents and sights, and then when you are ready the dog-friendly Swan Inn is less than half a mile away and in easy walking distance.
