This delightful property sits in the heart of the market town of Hatherleigh ideal for those looking to explore yet convenient for those just looking to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet.

This pretty property sits in a lovely spot within the grounds of the owners’ home, yet where privacy is assured, and has been lovingly refurbished in a contemporary style and perfectly placed for touring the whole of Devon. Outdoors enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the famous Ruby Way within easy reach as well as the Tarka Trail, Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are all within driving distance. There are also many quiet lanes and footpaths to explore. For those who enjoy beaches and water sports, these can be found just a short drive away in Bude. Hatherleigh itself hosts an arts festival in July and a carnival in November featuring two flaming tar barrel runs, well worth a look.

Inside, you will find the accommodation well laid out in an open-plan design, you are greeted by a kitchen/diner, equipped with a electric combination oven/microwave and two ring hob, fridge, additional small oven for extra cooking space and table and chairs. The lounge area has comfy seating surrounding the Smart TV and there is a handy sofa bed, suitable for an additional guest. The bedroom is off the lounge and has a king-size bed and stylish accessories. The shower room is next, contemporary in design with shower and WC.

Venturing outside, a good size private patio area with garden furniture is yours to enjoy. From here you can enjoy views across open countryside to Dartmoor and also enjoy the charcoal BBQ. At the rear of the property is a lawn area with picnic bench. A secure rack is available for cycle storage and private off-road parking for one car is also provided directly outside.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Studio. Amazing view outside and so nicely decorated inside. We really enjoyed using the barbecue one afternoon as well. The perfect location for a peaceful getaway, just what we needed! Would love to go back some day.

This is an excellent place to stay. Fabulous facilities,comfy bed,artistic and lovely tasteful furniture and fittings. The views from the Studio were stunning. The heating system was excellent and instructions easy to follow. The owners are very approachable and will do anything to please and help your stay. A very peaceful week with the property being in an excellent location to explore. We managed the following during our stay. Port Isaac - Tintagnal - Boscastle to the west Clovelly & Hartland Quay to the north Walked the moors from Meldon Dam and visited the Meldon viaduct Walked the Ruby Trail starting from Hatherleigh followed by Sunday roast in tRead morehe Tally Ho pub ! Go to Lynmouth in the north and do the Julia Bradbury walk up the river to Watersmeet - just beautiful. Hide

Great location with great hosts & accommodation. Very well equipped to a high standard. Stunning views with wonderful patio area. Hatherleigh is central to Bude, Bideford and Okehampton. Archie the dog enjoyed his daily walks across the surrounding fields and footpaths.

Very comfortable, quirky studio. Ideally situated for both coast and the moor and nearby towns. Good walking straight from the door and many access points to the moor a short distance away. Although on edge of town still a quiet spot to enjoy the view and private despite being close to owners property. Recommended.

A perfect choice for us and our dog. The Studio had everything we needed and we loved the choice of furniture, fixtures and fittings. So many lovely places to visit in less than an hours drive.

We had a fantastic stay at the studio. The views were amazing and we loved sitting on the decking with a coffee in the mornings. We had our own privacy but Claire & Tim were on hand if we needed anything. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch too. We walked down the hill into the village most days and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the village beRead moreing away from tourist spots. We talk our dog on some nice walks from the studio door, and travelled to Dartmoor, Bude and North Devon easily. Hide

Beautifully decorated studio. The property sits above the town and it is lovely to sit on the terrace looking out over the valley below. Many places are within a short drive and there are lovely walks from the property. We loved our 1 week stay here and were sad to leave.

Fab property to stay in. Very modern and neat. Clare was a lovely welcoming host. Although the cabin is next to the owners house, we had total privacy - the cabin has its own patio and decking - great for late evening watching the stars come up.
