Pretty spacious detached cottage is a fantastic alternative to a hotel room, offering more space and privacy. Giving you peace and tranquillity to enjoy a romantic retreat set in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park.
"This romantic retreat is situated within the beautiful Trossachs National Park and is perfect for a couple looking for a Highland hideaway where dogs are invited along for the adventure too. Its idyllic location is the stuff dreams are made of, with miles of tranquil walks punctuated by the rustling sound of deer or pine martens from deep within the woodlands. This traditional stunning stone cottage has been lovingly restored and updated and your stay here is sure to be a peaceful and relaxing one.
Upon stepping inside, you will immediately notice how light and spacious the cottage is with bright white walls providing the perfect canvas for the stripped wooden ceiling beams and pale wooden floors. In the lounge a woodburner provides a wonderful focal point along with a shelving unit groaning under the weight of freshly chopped logs, placed there for your enjoyment. Plaid curtains and ‘stag’ cushions leave you in no doubt that you are deep within the heart of Scotland here! There’s another woodburner in the huge open-plan kitchen/dining area, perfectly situated to warm you as you sit at the cute little dining table, perhaps enjoying a romantic meal by candlelight with Fido at your feet to hoover up any stray crumbs.
A previous visitor to this property described it as ‘remote but within easy reach of shops and great places to visit’ and we would have to agree. Here you are free to enjoy the peace and quiet of relative isolation but without being too far away from civilization – the very best of both worlds. Less than half a mile from the well-stocked village shop and post office, the property is also just 2.5-miles from a fantastic, ultra-dog-friendly pub."
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
