Feel right at home in this wonderfully cosy cottage tucked within the heart of the Dorset countryside. Offering a slice of rural life, this handy location is top dog for walks along the meandering banks of the River Stour, not forgetting a delicious picnic amongst wildlife and willow trees. Based in a quirky property that sleeps four, you are well placed for exploring the pretty villages dotted amongst this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Return to dine alfresco in the garden, seated under an all-weather canopy that makes even the drizzliest of days feel extra special.

Found at the bottom of a narrow lane, this country cottage is the perfect place to enjoy utter relaxation in tranquil surroundings. Fire up the wood burner for cosy nights in around the table, whipping up delicious meals to enjoy at leisure. The vibrant decor, comfortable furniture and homely touches create a different vibe throughout this single-level property, from snug bedrooms to a refreshing shower room. Outside is the perfect spot for a lazy evening BBQ, washed down with chilled wine. Use any spare energy reserves for some healthy competition in the games room, or challenge the family to croquet, boules or table tennis on the grounds.

Explore on foot, paw, or perhaps hire a canoe from the owners to discover the river from a new perspective. A 3-mile walk to the Stour Inn will get Fido’s paw print of approval, especially as he’ll receive a warm welcome!
