Rustle up a comforting dinner in the lovely kitchen/diner where you’ll also find a handy utility room with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, there’s an additional WC here as well as space for you to store leads and treats for your dog. Head up the cottage stairs to the first floor where there is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC and two bedrooms offering views of the river: one master double and a twin. Outside there are large gardens, luscious lawns and a patio with garden furniture; your pup will love exploring all of the nooks and crannies outside. An additional riverside garden with fire pit also resides across the road and is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day of walking.
The sweet coastal town of Fishguard is less than 4 miles from your doorstep offering gift shops, restaurants and dog friendly pubs. If your ball of fluff needs to stretch its paws, a brisk walk at Pontfaen in the Gwaun Valley (just 2 miles away) is a must. Wildlife enthusiasts should travel the 8 miles to Newport Sands and enjoy an afternoon of dolphin and seal watching.
