Terraced cottage enjoying a fantastic location, just a short walk from the centre of traditional seaside town of Minehead, with its beach, shops, and range of eateries.

This property is located close to the centre of Minehead, a popular coastal town in North Somerset, where visitors can enjoy typical British seaside entertainment including a wide sandy beach, seafront cafes, a promenade, arcades, and the fun-filled Butlins resort for which day tickets can be purchased. Just fifty yards from the property, is the town’s station for the West Somerset Steam Railway, which is the longest heritage railway in England. This fantastic day out, offers twenty miles of track, running from Minehead inland to Bishops Lydeard, stopping along the way at Dunster and Watchet, amongst other places.

A garden path leads to the front door of this traditional terraced cottage, bring guests to the homely living accommodation. On the ground floor, a wood burner-effect electric fire gives the lounge a lovely cosy feel, which can be enjoyed from the room’s two comfortable sofas, as can the TV/DVD. The dining room, which sits between the lounge and the kitchen has a dining table seating five, a feature fireplace, and a book case with a range of books for guests to enjoy. Moving through to the kitchen, guests will find everything they need to prepare their favourite dishes, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst a separate outbuilding houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: a double which has its own TV, and a peaceful twin room. There is also a WC on the first floor. Outside, there is an enclosed decked garden to the rear of the property, which has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is off-road parking available for one car, with additional roadside parking nearby.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great location near the railway and beach. Has everything you need. Good for visiting Dunster,Watchet and Porlock.

Lovely clean property walking distance to the beach and nearby family friendly pubs. Several supermarkets are very close by also. Plenty of space for a small family in the house and the lovely garden. Minehead is a great base for exploring Somerset.

excellent location, you can easily park up the car and not use it for a week. Everything is so local and transport links are very good. Property is great, warm, clean and homely. Beds are very comfortable and had best nights sleep, loved waking up to the sound of the steam train firing up each morning.

The cottage is convieniant and cosy., I love staying here and will hopefully be returning. It's situated in an ideal spot if you don't want to drive or have a dog to walk.

This cottage was lovely, very central so if you want yo ditch the car, you car. It was beautifully furnished, with secluded gardens. We enjoyed it so much, we came home and booked it again for next year !!!
