Enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the many pubs in the pretty coastal villages. Head north to visit stunning Bamburgh Castle (4 miles), where dogs are welcome to roam the nine acres of grounds or drive south to explore the magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle (10 miles).
