Truly escape from it all when you take up to three of your four-legged friends with you to this single-storey lodge nestled in magical, rural Devon, near the hamlet of Staple Cross. Sleeping two human guests, this delightful one-bedroom cottage looks out over a rolling, green landscape, where you and your dogs can explore for hours. Head into the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 5 miles from the inviting property, or up into Exmoor, which begins about 9 miles away.
Stroll into the inviting, timber holiday home via the hall and then make your way into the kitchen/diner to hang dog leads and jackets. Feed and water your trio then make yourselves a cup of tea to enjoy at the table. Prepare dinner in here too then head through to the lounge while it roasts in the oven. Light the wood burner and your cheerful chums can find a corner to doze in while you watch the smart TV. Dine in the kitchen or pull the doors on to the garden open so you can eat out on the deck. Head off for a bubble bath in the bathroom before laying your head in your king-size bedroom for the night. Make the most of the superb outside space whenever the weather is fine. Light the fire pit and sit out until late at night, admiring the night skies, with your furry friends nearby. Find plenty of parking at the cottage.
Walk 0.5 miles from the enticing lodge to Chimney Down Common, where your pals can run free to give their legs a good stretch. Wimbleball Lake, 16 miles from the cottage and located within Exmoor National Park, also offers miles of great walking to set tails wagging.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
