A simply beautiful cottage, enjoying wonderful coastal and rural surroundings, finished to a homely standard providing delightful accommodation for the more discerning visitor to the National Park.

Set in its own large enclosed garden and only a short walk to the coastal path, this fantastic property is the perfect base to explore the UK’s only coastal national park. With two bedrooms, this spacious property is ideal for friends of families, including one four-legged member, to enjoy the stunning coastlines and historic towns within easy reach. Stroll to idyllic Portclais Harbour, splash in the surf at Whitesands Bay (3 miles) or spend the day at beautiful St Davids (1 mile), the smallest city in Britain.

Your fabulous single-storey stone farmhouse is tastefully decorated with a light and airy feel. Open-plan living space means your hound is never far from your side whether you are relaxing in the lounge area or preparing a meal in the modern kitchen. Warm your paws in front of the wood burner on a chilly evening before heading through to bed. Two king-sized bedrooms share a spacious family wet room, perfect for freshening up after a day at the beach. Tails will wag at the garden space - enclosed by stone walls, your canine companion can stretch out in the sunshine while you enjoy an al fresco drink.

With its historic cathedral, St Davids (1 mile) is a lovely place to wander: explore the ruins of the Bishops Palace, browse the independent shops and galleries, or share a relaxed lunch in one of the dog-friendly pubs. Take your dog with you on one of the wildlife boat trips that sail from the harbour towards Ramsey and Skomer Islands and spot seals, puffins and maybe even a dolphin. Walkies galore surround you, from tranquil beach walks to challenging hikes along the coast path. Discover the area’s prehistoric past on well-marked routes leading to Coetan Arthur, a Neolithic burial chamber that includes one of the countries earliest monoliths.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Gorgeous place in a gorgeous location. Would definitely return. Lovely walk (1mile) into St Davids. Even shorter walk to join the coastal paths from Porth Clais.

The modern and airy interior opens on to a private lawn, ideal for a family with a dog (although a small to medium dog will be able to get out under the gate). The location is great as a starting point for walks on or around the St. Davids peninsula, with the dog-friendly Porthllisky bay an easy walk inland or around the coast. Very quiet location Read moreshared with a handful of other holiday lets. Hide
