Admire some of the traditional, original features and antique furniture while you enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the charming, Georgian-style kitchen. After a day sniffing out local wildlife, kick off your boots and indulge in a long soak in the beautiful free-standing bath while your pooches warm their paws in front of the open fire. Outside are beautifully maintained grass lawns for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs while you take in the far-reaching views of Airlie Estate.
Take a trip to nearby Airlie Monument (12 miles) and reap the rewards of a lovely walk with breathtaking views across Glen Clova and Glen Prosen from the summit. The Angus area has an abundance of incredible eateries to choose from, boasting everything from locally reared Aberdeen Angus steak to freshly caught fish and seasonal Scottish vegetables. Finish off the day with a trip to Reekie Linn waterfall (6 miles) and try your hand at spotting golden eagles and red deer in the surrounding forest.
